7 Haiku about Being Un-Dead

7 Haiku about Being Un-Dead

Even my worst days

Weren’t as dark as Today. I

Asked God, “Is this Hell?”

I went on a walk.

Hoping the sun would bring me

Life. Hoping to feel.

It was the first time

That I felt something had changed.

I was terrified.

I felt the world; cold.

But I couldn’t warm myself.

So I just waited.

I waited for God

To give the next direction

About how to live,

He said that living

Was no longer my concern.

He took care of it.

Now I no longer

Live. I just harbor life ‘til

I’m ready to go.
